About Bret G. Kaufman
Bret Kaufman has been practicing plaintiffs’ personal injury law for over ten years. Mr. Kaufman earned his Juris Doctor from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2012, graduating cum laude, and received his undergraduate degree from CUNY Queens College in 2008.
In addition to personal injury law, Mr. Kaufman has extensive experience in a wide range of legal matters, including commercial transactions, regulatory matters involving the State Liquor Authority, estate law, and criminal law.
Since entering practice, Mr. Kaufman has represented individuals and businesses in a wide range of legal matters, from advocating for injured clients in complex litigation to advising entrepreneurs and business owners on contractual and licensing issues. He has particular experience guiding clients through the regulatory landscape of liquor licensing in New York, including applications, renewals, and disciplinary proceedings before the SLA.
